Block Fest = Fun. Free. First. Friday.

Every first Friday of the month from 3pm-4:30pm locally sourced Artist Activators offer up free art making up and down our block of Turk Street. From live performance and art exhibition to screen printing workshops and crochet jams, Block Fest is a monthly tasting and testing of the Tenderloin’s creative spirit.

For the April 7 Block Fest, Artist Activator Sylvester Guard is facilitating a skateboard deck painting and skateboard assembly workshop! All materials are provided, and will be available as long as the supplies last.  If you have a deck at home you want to repaint, bring it with you.
