This all-levels Contact Improvisation class series looks into various aspects of improvisation using CI as a medium. How can we address SPACE, TIME, SHAPE, and STORY while always departing from the fundamental proposition of contact improvisation: human bodies interacting with gravity? Anatomy and physics will be our vehicles as we venture into new territories of perception and perspective.

An art space for contact and improvisation, experimentation and inquiry. Tuesday nights jams are a focused forum for movers and shakers: experimentation is welcome, be it in physical, sociological, performative, or compositional realms. Each improvisor is responsible for their own choices. Each jam is cooked up by those who show up.
