This event has been postponed until further notice.

underground underneath the underground (prelude) is the beginning of a choreographic investigation that centers darkness, the Divine Feminine, and club spaces as sites of generative dissonance; sites where transformation is made possible through intimate platicas, durational and repetitive processes of fermentation, and alternative architectures of being.

Alone, and together, we will engender contemporary rituals that work directly with the force of the erotic to bend time, center pleasure, and walk towards the possibility of liberation. underground wrestles with the questions, “Can club spaces become sites for organizing and healing? Are we celebrating or mourning or both? How do we prepare para lo que viene aka the opaQUE? How do we engender paths of least resistance as a way of catalyzing softness and surrender? How do we channel anger without burning ourselves in the process?”
